What Consumers Hate About Brands in Social Media

Poor English and salesy updates are the two biggest complaints about brands on social media, new research has found.

42.5% of people get annoyed by poor spelling or grammar while 24.9% cite salesy updates as off-putting.

The results are based on research in July 2013. Disruptive Communications asked 1,0003 UK consumers what was the most likely to damage their opinion of a brand in social media.  Source  dma.org.uk/news/what-consumers-hate-about-brands-social-media (read the full story there)

Telemarketing Fatal Flaw #3

Raised the bar and WOW your Customers” means that everyone in your company has to to customer focused.

However, not enough focus is give to the team to make this happen. Make each and every one in your company a “Director of First Impression”. A “Director of First Impression” person will at all times anticipates the prospect/clients needs. From the moment they come in contact with customers. The sales person should educate the prospect/ clients about his/her organisation’s product/service. Then point them in the right direction as to whatever outcome, benefit and solutions you can offer.

Demonstrating capabilities is one of the critical factors in any organisation in today’s overcrowded market place.

And your competition is waiting for you just to make that one mistake.

“Beware of the 10 Fatal Flaws of Small Businesses”

Let me explain…

When ever I ask most small business how they get new business, their immediate reply is; word of mouth from satisfied customers. Lets face it, if you and I were to get qualified prospect to call you it’s not hard to open a business relationship, is it.  But what do you do when the pipeline dries up and the referrals stop flooding in? What then?

Small Business Fatal Flaw #1

Using only one business strategy to win new business

Knowing what not to do is critical to success, in fact…

The first thing is to know and DO THE RIGHT THINK.

There is a difference in knowing something and knowing how to do it.

The second is leaning to know what NOT to do. In other words you must avoid doing the same thing and expecting the same results.

Successful telemarketing has more than one strategy in place to win new business.

Look out for the next blog post in the next few days  for the second Fatal Flaws of Small Business.

ELV Referral Scheme – Create Extra Revenue With Those Unwanted leads!

We would be very interested to act as a referral to a number of your clients that request an outbound calling service.

If you do receive any B2B telemarketing enquiries that you cant assist in-house either it’s a service you don’t offer or due to budgetary reasons/minimum order requirements (please note we will take on projects as small as 2 days calling), please feel free to refer these leads onto ourselves and we are happy to offer you 10% of the sale,

If you qualify the lead and pass it over to ourselves, if we then convert it to a paying client, we are happy to then send you 10% on a monthly basis for the first 12 months. This is 10% of any revenue from that client.  At ELV we do have a large client base that is always looking for Business services and we are also happy to refer their details back to you based upon a simular arrangement.

Please let me know if this does interest you and I would be happy to deal with these enquiries that you maybe currently turning away but could give your company an additional revenue stream.
