How to Turn an Irate Customer Into a Happy Customer

Ms. Davies:

Hello. My name’s Angela Davies. I’ve called you twice already today. I’ve been waiting since 9.am for an engineer.

John:

Hello Ms Davies you’re speaking with John. Thank you for calling. I’m really sorry for any inconvenience. It really is unacceptable. Let me look into it for you. Should we be unable to get the engineer out to you today, would it be convenient for him to call tomorrow?

Ms Davies:

Okay, I suppose that will have to do, although you do realise that this leaves me unable to do any washing for another day. I did already have to wait four days for the appointment.

John:

I understand. I’ll personally ensure the engineer arrives on time so as not to take up any more of your time, and I can only apologise to you Ms Davies for your inconvenience today.
